Jean Plaisier A new weaver here at Baker Allegan Studios from Dorr, Jean started out weaving in Deb's Studio just to pass time and hang-out with the Girls, she said "I really don't want to learn to weave". I guess it grew on her... (Giggle... Snort! another one hooked :-) ), cause now she has her own Loom and cant wait to get in here and get her "fix". She is weaving Towels, Shawls and Rugs. |

Dan was doing this as a hobby, and giving his pieces away as gifts. After many years, his family has no more room to accept his works of art. All the better for the rest of us... Dan's latest endeavor is creating walnut and mahogany weaving shuttles. |

Deb Moe A new Weaver from Allegan. Deb came to Baker Allegan Studios as a good friend and found out she was an Artist by accident. She started by helping us out in setting up the looms, then playing on them, then becoming an Artist in her own right. Her use of Earthy colors, combined with her love of texture makes for some of the most beautiful rugs you will see. |
