Weave your own Rug or Towel!
Want to try something NEW? 
   Here's some cool things to do while in west Michigan, We have three, beautifully restored Weavers Delight looms, built by the Newcomb Loom Co. in our shop.

   This is as easy as it gets for a person that knows nothing at all about weaving but would like to try it. We set the looms up so customers with no experience at all, can come in and have a blast, weaving a Rag rug or Cotton towel of their own design. You can bring in your own rags, and weave a rug for $3.00 per foot, or use our rags for $8.00 per foot. Rugs take about 3 hours to complete. Towels are 45 cents an inch, all materials included and take about an hour to complete. We recommend calling in and reserving a loom.

   We also buy and sell used looms. We use these looms in our weaving classes and will sell them to our students if they like the loom they are weaving on.

   We can also do repairs on your loom if you can bring it in to our shop.

We have Raw Alpaca fleece!!!

This is award winning chocolate colored Alpaca, 4" to 5" staple, 1st (Blanket) and 2nds, some with a beautiful "Crimp".

We also have wild Knitting yarns that we think work wonderfully for some of us more adventurous weavers ;>) Of course, they work fine for Knitting as well, but we just tend to think a little out of the box.

   We are always expanding our collection of Weaving and Spinning books, and as always, looking for local suppliers of Fiber in the way of Roving. If you have Fiber Animals, and would like to sell their fiber here, please feel free to come on in.

We have many books on weaving and spinning, a nice selection of handspun yarn, and new looms and wheels on display.

We believe that bigger IS better!!!  This is our 16 Shaft, 60" Computer Assisted AVL Loom, with all the toys and a custom modified, double sectional rear beam.
